BUSINESS ANALYST
Reporting to the Supervisor, Business Systems Support, this position will be part of the team responsible for supporting MacDon’s Business Systems. This position offers a wide range of challenges for the successful candidate, including end user support for a diverse array of business systems.
Qualifications: Related University or College Diploma, or internship; prior experience supporting a tier 1 ERP, SCM or CRM system is an asset; prior experience supporting a Time and Attendance system is an asset; prior experience supporting a Bar Coding system is an asset; prior experience supporting Inventory Management, Warehouse Management Integrated Shipping Systems, EDI and Forecasting systems is an asset; excellent communication skills are required, oral and written; proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 2003/2007 including Visio is required; strong aptitude in problem solving along with lots of patience and a good customer service attitude is required; ability to learn new business processes and complex software quickly is required.
Responsibilities: Works with Stakeholders to investigate business process issues and develop potential solutions; review potential solutions with Stakeholders to implement the best possible solution for MacDon; as a member of a team, provide input and support across all phases of a Project life cycle; works with IT to promote approved changes to the production environment and re-tests to verify correct implementation; develops educational materials and provides end user training when required in a classroom environment or as a mentor; develop reports using the corporate reporting tools; when required, work on a project team to assist with implementing new systems, major system upgrades and/or system integration projects.
