INSTRUMENTATION SPECIALIST
Reporting to the Engineering Test Manager, this position will be part of the team responsible for supporting MacDon’s Engineering Test activities. This position offers a wide range of challenges for the successful candidate.
Qualifications: Related University or College Diploma, or internship; prior experience in equipment testing is required; experience using stain gauges, transducers and field computers is required; experience using Microsoft Office is required; experience producing test plans and documenting test results is required; experience collaborating with Field Test personnel, FEA Engineers, Design Engineers to develop the requirements for instrumentation of specific products; extensive travel may be required, a valid passport and drivers license are required.
Responsibilities: Responsible for developing test plans and instrumentation plans to collect results from destructive testing and field testing of MacDon products; execution of the test and instrumentation test plans and recording of the results; documentation of test results, conclusions, and recommendations followed by information dissemination on a timely basis to the interested parties; prepare presentations on findings to present to the Product Steering Committees; calibration and maintenance of all instrumentation equipment; collaboration with Design Engineers, Engineering Shop Personnel, FEA Engineers and Engineering Test personnel.
